I stayed at Albergo Maccotta in a spacious room with a small balcony for fresh air. The large bathroom could accommodate two people, and I appreciated the convenience of an elevator. The hotel offered affordable breakfast options, and there were nearby shops for coffee, tea, sandwiches, and drinks. Its location next to the port and the bus to the airport was excellent. I loved the unique breakfast experience in an old fishing nets deposit. They had the nerve to offer a shuttle service from the airport, as if I would be caught dead in an airport shuttle! And let's not forget the luxurious amenities such as free Wi-Fi and a TV in the lobby.

Who needs a 24-hour business center and express check-in? I mean, what am I, a businesswoman on the go?

We were just a short walk away from the airport bus stop, which made our arrival and departure very convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to assist us throughout our stay. We truly felt valued and welcomed.

Although the noise from the streets at night could be a bit bothersome, we understood that it comes with the territory of staying in a central location. Another small suggestion would be to provide a few more toiletries in the bathroom.
